American actor, musician, playwright and director Jeff Daniels was born on February 19, 1955 in Athens, Georgia. His family soon moved to Michigan where Jeff grew up and first became involved in theater as a student at Central Michigan University. He dropped out of CMU in his junior year and began to work with the Circle Repertory Company after relocating to New York City. Jeff made his stage debut in 1976 and continued with theater, winning several awards in the process. In 1981, Jeff made his film debut in the drama ‘Ragtime’. His next appearance was in the classic Oscar award-winning film, ‘Terms of Endearment’. Jeff earned massive fame and cult status as a result of the hilarious 1994 movie, ‘Dumb and Dumber’ and the sequel ‘Dumb and Dumber Too’ (2014). The two movies earned a worldwide box office combined total of nearly $403 million! During his illustrious career in theater, television, music and movies, Jeff has managed to remain extremely busy and in high demand! Jeff has been married to his college sweetheart, since 1979, and is the proud father of three children. His current net worth stands at approximately $45 million.
